Narrative
PINE MOUNTAIN, GA – Two people were injured, and two teenage girls, who were sisters, lost their lives in a single-vehicle collision on Highway 190 Wednesday.
The crash happened when the driver, for reasons unclear, drifted off the lanes, lost control of the car, and then crashed into a tree.
The young ladies who passed away were identified as 16-year-old Kira Dean and 18-year-old Kyrsta Dean.
The two injured people were identified as one of the Dean’s cousins, and another was either a friend or acquaintance of the sisters’, who was sent to the hospital for treatment of unspecified wounds.
An investigation has been launched. No further information has been provided.
