Narrative
DUBLIN, GA – A driver of a Volkswagen ID 4 put his car in drive, resulting in a chain reaction collision in a Chick-fil-A drive-thru that seriously injured a 17-year-old girl, a Chick-fil-A employee.
This multi-vehicle collision happened Tuesday evening. The Volkswagen driver had not intended to accelerate forward, leading him to instantly rear-end another automobile in front of him.
The motorist of the second vehicle then struck a third vehicle, and the third one hit a fourth. The 17-year-old girl was then pinned between two of the automobiles and extricated.
She was then rushed to an area hospital where she is recovering. It is unclear what her current condition is.
The restaurant closed early, and no other people at the establishment were harmed.
No charges are pending.
