Narrative
TIFTON, GA – A driver of a semi-truck had locked brakes and struck an SUV, leading that SUV to then strike another SUV, leading to at least one person suffering minor wounds.
This incident happened on Highway 82 on Thursday. A driver of a fire truck going east on Highway 520 and turning onto Salem Church Road. The first SUV yielded the right of way, but the approaching semi-truck from behind did not stop and struck the SUV, which initiated the crash. The semi-driver will face charges.
First responders shut down some lanes and reopened all lanes after 2 p.m.
