NEAR AMBROSE, GA – A driver was charged with a DUI and then, along with their passenger,, airlifted to a hospital after their car rolled over on GA 268 West Tuesday.
This collision happened around 10 p.m. Georgia State Patrol said the motorist failed to maintain a lane while negotiating a curve, leading them to drift off the road and the 2-door Pontiac to overturn several times across a field, and both occupants to get thrown from the car.
Upon arrival, first responders transported both individuals to Savannah Memorial Hospital. Authorities have not provided an update regarding their current conditions.
