HALL COUNTY, GA – A 37-year-old man lost his life when he was struck by a dark-colored SUV pulling a trailer near Spring Road and McEver Road before 8:30 p.m. Sunday. The pedestrian — Omer Herman Morris — was taken to Northeast Georgia Medical Center, where he succumbed to fatal injuries. The driver fled the scene and has yet to be found.
