Narrative
DULUTH, GA – Three people were sent to the hospital, and five teenagers lost their lives in a three-vehicle wreck on the I-85 southbound on-ramp before 4 a.m. Monday. Gwinnett County Police said the driver of one vehicle had gone over the ramp and, fell down into traffic lanes and had collided with two other vehicles. Three sustained unspecified injuries. The teenagers who were killed were identified as Atlanta teenagers — 16-year-old Ashley Gaitan and, 17-year-old Katy Gaitan, and 17-year-old Coral Lorenzo. The other teens were identified as 18-year-old Hung Nguyen from Lawrenceville and 19-year-old Abner Santana from Suwanee.
