Narrative
BAINBRIDGE, GA – Police apprehended a driver that fled the scene Monday after causing an accident along a highway in central Decatur County.
The crash occurred around 3:19 p.m. at GA-1 and Zorn Road, which is on the northwestern outskirts of Bainbridge. This is about 128 miles southeast of Columbus.
Police say that the driver of a southbound Cadillac Escalade fled after striking the rear of a southbound Honda Odyssey. The driver of the Escalade faces charges of leaving the scene of an accident.
It’s not yet clear if anyone involved in the collision sustained injuries.
