1 pedestrian dead in Evans High School crash

EVANS, GA – According to the Georgia Sun, a 14-year-old student has died after being struck by a car Monday morning in Evans.

The crash occurred near Evans High School, at the intersection of Cox Road and Knight’s Way shortly before school began on Monday.

The victim was transported to a nearby hospital where they died from their injuries.

The 16-year-old driver of the vehicle has been arrested and charged by police.
